the last days of summer

the next day was the last day we had together. preeti and cameron were leaving on an airplane on friday. we agreed on having a «day off» at the pool. the husband had been taking a swim every morning while staying at the mimosas, while the rest of us hadn’t «had the time» yet. busy schedule.. after breakfast we just went down to the pool and found ourselves some good deckchairs in the sun, put on a generous amount of sun lotion and greased all over my glossy magazines. we bathed both in the pool and in the hot sun, ordered what we wanted from room/pool service and just had the best last day! after being pampered by ourselves, we headed for the big glossy city again.

we had to eat! found an ok street cafe and had some ok pasta and pizza.

after that ok meal, we just walked along with the crowd,  

ending up at the beach just beside a large stage with hundreds of chairs placed in front.

we brought some snacks and drinks and laied out a play of shithead.

after a while the sun went down and the darkness came for us. the chairs were starting to fill up with «nobodys», so we saw it as a chance to get inside. as we went into the area, we each got a blanket and that was a good thing because it was getting a bit chilly at the time.

on the large screen they showed the film «greed in the sun». it was an old, charming movie, wich we had to leave halfway into, to catch the last train home (wich was a bus). at the mimosas it was time to say goodbye. we had such a wonderful time meeting up with preeti and cameron, and hope it won’t be a long time ’til the next time! thank you guys!
